A Reflection on Media Taste For Charity!

I used to live in Utopia but it wasn’t practical so I moved to Christmas!

Early this December we watched as KTNV Channel 13 in Las Vegas and ABC affiliate teamed with the City Mission Director Jackie Davis for three continuous nights of assisting the Mission in restocking their pantry. Doug Kezirian, Tiffani Sargent and the always on top of the world Brian Scofield anchored the field reporting drawing attention to the acute needs of such ministries dedicated to our brothers and sisters and who at this time of great economic peril remain firmly planted in the breach dedicating their lives to providing hope in the form of food donations from us to be distributed to friends we haven’t met yet. Yes living Saints are amongst us! Who else will take up their cross and follow him providing clothing to the naked, food to the hungry, comfort to the grief stricken, and visitation to the prisoner.

Today Channel 13 provided us a glimpse of how a commitment to make the world a better place is practiced! For that we thank you for dedicating your time, resources, talent and air time to help us all appreciate that each day we awake is Christmas morning! Forming an attitude of gratitude from that vision is limited not.
